Yves Mertens has been a lawyer since 1992 and, as co-founder of the firm, has more than 30 years of experience in traffic law, liability law and insurance law.
Yves Mertens has always been very involved and has been active as chairman of the conference of the young bar, member of the Council of the Order, assessor in the Dutch-speaking Disciplinary Board of Appeal for Lawyers in Brussels and as curator for the commercial court in Mechelen.
He is still a member of the Joint Legal Aid Commission, saisine division.
Since 2000, he has been active as a substitute judge at the police court of Antwerp, with divisions in Antwerp, Mechelen and Turnhout.
Yves Mertens provides assistance to both private individuals and companies, including insurance companies.
